Megan was born and raised in Los Angeles, but more recently moved to South Orange County and was impressed by how fitness and health motivated the community was. Megan has always enjoyed a variety of athletic training but took a strong liking to indoor cycling nearly a decade ago after working long days at a desk. She found it was one way to really blow off steam, get the body moving, clear thoughts, and best of all, work hard alongside community. Cycling opened the doorway to other fitness angles such as circuit training, weightlifting, and cardio boxing. Megan has experience coaching those with Parkinson’s Disease and other neurological conditions when her mother was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. She began working with Rock Steady Boxing, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of those with Parkinson's through non-contact, boxing-based fitness curriculum with programs in every state. Megan continues to stay active, adding hiking and hot and cold therapy to her health routine. She loves every essence of fitness, the build-up before, the thrill during, and the pain and gain after. She believes the greatest aspect of fitness is when anyone of any level, background or passion for movement can come together and face the rewarding challenges of exercising as a team with like-minded goals.
